OPHS would like to extend a personal invitation for you to attend the next meeting of the Overland Park Historical Society on May 16 at 10 a.m. Brad Moore will be giving a very nostalgic and enjoyable presentation called "Metcalf Memories" which will recount many of the memorable businesses that opened along Metcalf Avenue from 1955 to the present. Hundreds of vintage photos and some pretty fun trivia are part of the presentation. So, if you want to take a trip on the way-back machine, please join us at the American Legion, 7500 W. 75th St., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. Donuts and beverages will be served, along with plenty of memories we can all relate to!
